Who’s Your Annoying Office Co-Worker?
Nicole was in the bathroom this morning and heard someone holding a full fledged conference call while she was sitting in the stall. Um, it was kind of annoying once Nicole realized that it was her the woman was talking to. Stanley T said he’d rather overhear a conference call in the bathroom than deal with someone working right next to you who blasts their music so loud you can’t even think, especially when it’s music you don’t like.
What about the people who have to read their emails out loud and listen to their voice mails on speaker? How about when someone’s cell phone is constantly ringing and it’s not on vibrate or silent? Somehow they conveniently manage to never pick it up early enough. You would think people in the office would know that these kinds of things are annoying because it probably annoys them when they’re on the other end, but no. One of the worst offenses is when someone steals others people’s food from the fridge. Not cool!
What person in the office annoys you most and why? What stereotypes do some of your office mates fit in? Here are some examples:
- “Listens to music too loud” guy/girl.
- “Talks way too loud when on the phone (or in general)” guy/girl.
- “Overhears everyone’s conversation and must comment accordingly” guy/girl.
- “Always knows everyone’s secrets, but is always the first to open his/her mouth” guy/girl.

The thing I hate the most is the person that I share a cubical wall with that clips her nails at least once a week. To me thats so disgusting, not sure why though
There is a lady in our office who has to be the most annoying person ever. She is constantly clearing her throat and making little coughing sounds. But the icing on the cake is that when she is in the bathroom she talks to herself….even if there are other people in their too.
If you can’t think of who the annoying person is at your work,….well,……it’s because IT’S YOU!!!!!!!!
The most annoying person in my office is THE DRAMA MAMA, not matter what it is there is drama with this girl. Sometimes I wish that I can just strangle her.
The most annoying person in the office is the old guy that has worked for the company a zillion years and he is the time clock, he watches the clock on breaks and lunches for other employees and complaines about everyone not working.
The most annoying person in my office is the Credit Stealer. I have a little business with me and a couple of close friends. But one of them is getting way too pigheaded! I’m the one that actually does all the work and she says takes all the credit. IT GETS ON MY NERVES!
The most annoying person in my office is the crazy lady who hums and talks to herself. Everytime I walk by her no matter what she is doing she starts to hum….
there is this women who is a clean freak! she dusts everyday which isnt a big deal til she shakes ther dust onto my desk. not only does she dust she has a wireless vaccum which she also daily and after she uses it she cleans the vaccum and her desk down with disinfected wipes. Its totally annoy! she should apply for a housekeeping job!
EMILY you should unplug her Vacuum and hide her clean wipes.
The most annoying person in my office is pretty much the “one-upper” (A one upper is one who feels like they need to be better than everyone else, so they constantly “one-up” anything that anyone says.)
I can definitely go on but that’s number on my list is the one upper.
She feels the need to feel like she knows everything and when you are trying to help someone out, she wants to do it just as much better so she can feel better about herself.
The most annoying person I work with is the one who is always whispering instead of talking in a normal voice. Even if no one else is around she has to stand close and whisper. TALK IN A NORMAL VOICE!!!

I work at a preschool and there’s this girl that made me do part of her job because she said she had to do something. I found her talking badly about a teacher to another teacher while I was doing her job. Busy my butt.
