Women Who Put Their Men In The Line Of Fire

The other night Nicole and her boyfriend, Matt, were heading to her mom’s in Connecticut for dinner. Nicole got on the train first and was walking a little ahead of her boyfriend when she heard a guy call out to her. She turned her head to see who it was and there was just guy sitting down who asked for her name. Nicole politely, and awkwardly, smiled but didn’t say anything.

This guy continued to holler at her, asking her for her name. Nicole finally snapped, pointed at Matt, and said “that’s my boyfrien right there. Why don’t you ask him my name?!” Her boyfriend, unlucky for him, was not in earshot of this. When Nicole finally caught up to him he said, “don’t look now, but that guy is really giving you a nasty look.”

She broke the news that she put him in the line of fire, without telling him. Rich and Stan were not happy with her. Why would you throw your man under the bus and put him in a situation where he might have to get into an altercation with someone? While we fully understand that some women can take care of themselves, but in many cases it’s the man defending the honor.

Has there ever been a case where, because of your partner, you had to get into a fight or argument? Ladies, have you ever gotten your man into some trouble that was unwarrented?

Is It Gross To Brush Your Teeth In The Shower?

Ryan and Rich went to a wedding the other weekend and when Ryan got into the shower, he saw a toothbrush in there. Their friend had left a toothbrush in the shower. Both Rich and Ryan were kind of weirded out. To them it’s kind of gross to keep your toothbrush in the shower and/or brush your teeth in there.

Nicole completely disagrees. She loves to brush her teeth in the shower. What’s the difference between it being in the shower or in a holder on your sink? Stan, on the other hand, is with the guys. He likes to brush his teeth in the sink.

Rich takes it a step further. He doesn’t even like to wash his face in the shower, he does it in the sink. Do you think it’s weird for someone to brush their teeth or have a toothbrush in the shower?

Things That Were Supposed To Make Your Life Easier, But Didn’t!

Technology, Simultaneously Helping and Confusing People For Over A Decade.

Last weekend, Nicole & her boyfriend were driving to a friends & were using a GPS. GPS is supposed to make getting places easier and less stressful, but not this time. The navigation system led them everywhere but where they wanted to go and it took them 45 minutes longer than it should have to get there!

There are a lot of things that are supposed to be convenient and make your life easier, but they don’t. Nicole once got one of those pannini presses that had waffle inserts thinking it’d be so much easier to make hot sandwiches and  waffles. However, when he’d make sandwiches the bread would stick to the roof and when he’d try to make waffles the inserts wouldn’t stay in place! Plus,  the batter would go all over the place!

What have you had that was supposed to make your life easier, but didn’t?

I Wish I Heard The Other Side Of That Conversation…

Nicole and her boyfriend were out this past weekend running some errands, and Nicole sees this woman screaming and crying at her boyfriend in the middle of the sidewalk. As they walk past her, they hear her scream, “How could you be so self-centered?! I said Dumpling House!” Nicole and her boyfriend froze and both looked at each other like, “what did she just say?” It was the most bizarre phrase. What could they have possibly been talking about that resuled in those words being uttered.

Rich thinks this is an awesome game to play. We’ve all had times when we overhear things that seem to make no sense and we wish we could’ve heard the other part of that conversation to understand where it came from.

Nicole asks Stan and Rich what they think happened that made her say that. Rich thinks that maybe, this girl’s boyfriend is someone who never pays attention to her and he stood her up at this dumpling house place where she was waiting for him. What do you think could have happened in that conversation that would’ve made the woman scream, “How could you be so self-centered?! I said Dumpling House!”

Nicole’s Sexy Time Backfire

Nicole decided to take one for the team this morning and tell a really embarrasing story about how she tried to be sexy and cute for her man, but had it backfire in a really not so cute way. She was rushing so that she could go to Pilates, decided to hit the bathroom and started undressing so that she could change into her workout clothes. Nicole then decided to take a undressing intermission and ran intot he living room to do a cute sexy dance for her boyfriend. Bad move.

While when Nicole was dancing facing her boyfriend it was very cute and sexy, which might have led to her missing her Pilates class (wink, wink). Unfortunately, she decided to turn around. All of a sudden things became silent. No, it wasn’t because of her severe case of noassatall, it was because she still had a little bit of toilet paper where the sun don’t shine. Her boyfriend had her stop her dance and Nicole had to take the walk of shame to go and get ready for her class.

When have you been in the middle of heating things up, or about to start, some sexy time tales only to have something happen taht totally kills the mood?

Does Your Family Have A Buddy System Like Nicole’s Family Does?

This morning, Nicole was telling the guys about her family whistle. When she was younger and would go anywhere with her family, whether it was a huge grocery store or a small convenient store, they had a special whistle they would use to find each other in case anyone got lost. Nicole would whistle and her parents or sister would whistle back until they found each other.

Rich thinks the whole idea of a family whistle is a little strange. He can just imagine a young Nicole wandering around an amusement park by herself, whistling for her parents. Stan thinks Nicole’s family whistle sounds straight out of Jiminy Cricket.

Nicole defends her family whistle, and thinks that it’s important for any family with children to have a whistle as a sort of buddy system. Does your family have a whistle?

People, Like Nicole, Think Bringing Their Dog Around Is A Treat. But It’s Not.

Nicole loves her dog Phoebe, we know this. She brings her dog by work to visit sometimes and this past weekend, she even brought her along to the wedding she went to this past weekend. Now, Rich admits that Phoebe is a very cute and well behaved dog. But when Nicole, and other women & men who have little dogs, bring them around, they think it’s a treat for other people.

Nicole says everyone loves Phoebe and when she brought her to the wedding this past weekend everyone was excited. And when she brings her to work everyone always wants to play with her and hold her. Stan tells her that actually, the guys don’t like it when she brings Phoebe to the studio.

Ryan backs Stan up. It’s not that they don’t like the dog, they love her. They just don’t like her in the studio. They’re trying to do the show and pay attention and instead all they can think about is accidentally stepping on the dog as she runs around the studio.

Nicole can’t believe that the guys are saying this. She’s really upset that they feel this way about her little Phoebe. Rich tells her it’s not that they don’t love Phoebe, but when people bring they’re dog somewhere, other people are automatically going to say that the dog is cute.

Just like you’re never going to say a baby’s ugly or a bride looks horrible at their wedding, no ones going to tell Nicole that they don’t like having her dog at work.

What do you think about the whole concept that people believe bringing their dog around is a treat?
