The Fake Greeting Girls Like To Give
OMG, It’s Soooooooooo Good To See You!
Rich Davis and Ryan Sampson have gone on a little tirade on the greeting Nicole gives them when they meet up outside of work. When they first see each other in the morning it’s just a quick hello, but when they see each other outside of work Nicole makes it a big to do. Everyone gets big hug and kisses like she hasn’t seen them in ages.
Rich and Ryan don’t quite understand why there should be a difference in the greeting they receive. Nicole’s reasoning? She sees the guys everyday at work, and it’s a more of a “what up” because it’s a routing they go through everyday. She hardly sees them out and about because once the work week is over they go about the other parts of their lives, whether it’s their relationships, families, or just downtown away from the craziness of Sirius XM Radio.
Are Rich and Ryan crazy to call out Nicole’s greeting tactics? Should Nicole be greeting them the same very time? Is she being too much of a girl (maybe even a “woo girl”) with her over the top greetings when seeing them outside of work? You be the judge. That is, unless you are guilty of this yourself. Are you?

I do it too Nicole. I ran into one of my employees at the store on Sat. I chatted with her for at least 10-15 min. We’re not close at work. I don’t think I’ve ever just “chatted” with her before. It’s crazy, but I find myself drumming up conversations instead of just a quick wave or hello.
As a woman, I do the same thing and other ladies do it to me, as well. Even at our company Christmas party, I did the fake hug/kiss thing to people all night long. Can’t explain it…we just do it! We are just super friendly by nature!
I don’t think it’s fake. I think most people are so friggin happy to not be within the confines of their job (work place) that when they see someone they enjoy working with outside of the oppression they feel joy! duhhhhh!!!!
I don’t understand why girls do this, either… I mean, depending on the situation and the person, it almost seems shallow of them. Because whenever I’ve seen a girl do this, it’s because they don’t like the person they’re greeting. If I don’t like someone who comes up to me, I don’t pretend to like them, but I don’t make it a big show that I don’t, either. I dunno, I just think it’s bizzare.
Girls are crazy! Thats all you need to know, and it expains EVERYTHING! Love you girls!
:)
I’m not that type of girl, no, just a smile and hello maybe some chit chat but no hugs, kiss kiss, ect…
