Epic Job Interview Fails

The fall internship is starting in a few weeks and Ryan was interviewing a candidate for The Morning Mash Up/SiriusXM Hits 1 who didn’t have a clue how to interview. It was such a bad experience. When Ryan told the person that they would be needed at least 4 days a week, they replied they wouldn’t be able to do that. Ryan followed by asking how much they would be available.

The person replied that they’d be able to intern one day a week for something like 4 hours. Then, they asked Ryan hwo much writing would be involved, because they weren’t very good at it. Wow. Why even bother showing up for an interview? It’s amazing how many people don’t know how to act when they are being interviewed.

However, it’s not only the candidates, the people conducting the interview can sometimes ask the weirdest and most useless questions (if you were an animal, what animal would you be?)
