Are You Pre-Scanning Your Party Evite?

Over Analyzing Your Evite?

Rich is starting to get invitations to all the Thanksgiving Eve parties in the form of people’s new obsessions with using Evites and Facebook Event Invitations. For Rich it’s just an invitation to see who RSVP’d and who is not going to the party. The problem with using Evite and Facebook is that now people can prejudge your party and if a few people don’t go it could kill the entire thing. Is it wrong that Rich prejudges his party Evite? How do you treat Evite and Facebook Events? Is it just a formality that you don’t take as seriously as an email or an invite in the mail, or do you need to answer it back?

How Does Your Significant Other Get Out Of Trouble With You?

How Does Your Significant Other Get Out Of Trouble With You?

The other day Nicole got pretty upset with her boyfriend. He tried to weasel his way out of it by picking up their puppy, which he knows Nicole melts over, and talking himself out of it through the puppy. It was so hard for Nicole to stay mad at him!

Stan says h got so mad at his wife once for racking up their credit card bill, and when he confronted her about it she tried to use her, ahem, “assets” to get out of it. Somehow Stan managaed not to crack.

Rich says that when his girlfriend knows she pissed him off, she gets her adorable little cousins on the phone to “say hi to Rich,” knowing that he can’t show them that he’s angry.

We’ve all tried to weasel our way out of trouble with our significant others. How have you tried to get yourself out of trouble? How has your significant other tried to get themselves out of trouble?

Do You Believe In The Stay-At-Home Dad?

Stay At Home Dad's: Yay Or Nay?

Ryan was talking to a friend of his who, as a result of the economy, is a stay-at-home dad. We’re sure Ryan’s pal is probably one of a number of guys who have taken on this role due to the toughonomy. There are also guys that have been stay-at-home dads for awhile by their own choice. While it’s not unheard of, it’s still not as common as hearing of stay-at-home moms.

While big daddy Stanley T understands that just generally being a parent is difficult, he is cool with the idea of stay-at-home dads. Nicole is the same way, whether a dad doesn’t make more than his wife, and someone has to stay at home and watch the kids, or if it’s by choice. Rich thinks a dad should be a provider, and working out in the work and “bringing home the bacon” no matter what. It could very well be a choice do to unemployment, like Ryan’s friend.

There are several negative points of view, such as the male ego being battered, or maybe being called lazy, or just being poked fun at by friends. The good points might be that a dad would be able to bond more with his kids. What is the position of the dad these days, and how has it changed? What is your opinion of the stay at home dad? If you aren’t a stay-at-home dad but had the option to be, would you take it?

Who Be Fibbin: The Ex Edition!

pinnochio1

With all the interesting photos of Rihanna and Cassie hitting the Internet, and the rumors that ex-boyfriends might have been the ones to leak the photos, it’s an ex’s edition of “Who Be Fibbin’!” Everyone has had an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend do something bad to them, and this week we’re going to find out what crappy things have been done to The Morning Mash Up:

  • Rich claims that an ex tried to get her new boyfriend to run him down with a car.
  • Nicole claims that an old boyfriend once went through a bunch of  her personal stuff and defaced some love letters he found.
  • Ryan claims that he had an ex try to drain his bank account before moving to Israel.
  • Stanley T claims that an ex broke up with him, after he pleaded her not too, then saw him on a date with someone and threw a brick through his car window.

…So, Who Be Fbbin? The answer is after the break! ;)
